These terms set the ground rules for using Velvet List, an independent 18+ creator discovery and review directory.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to view adult-oriented directory content where you live. Do not use the service if local law prohibits it. Gallery images may include nudity and are shown unblurred only to accounts that complete an age check; do not share access to a verified account.
Directory information
Profiles, audience figures, prices, availability and external links may change. Verification describes a completed check; it is not an endorsement or guarantee. Check important information directly with the creator or platform before relying on it.
Accounts and contributions
Keep your account secure and submit only lawful, accurate and respectful material. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Do not impersonate others, manipulate ratings, harass people, publish private information, or upload content you do not have the right to use. You cannot create a profile of another person; you can suggest a creator, which asks us to invite them and does not create a profile.
Creator profiles
Every profile is created or approved by the creator, who must prove control of a listed platform account and pass a UK ID check before it is published. Nothing is listed without the creator. Approval gives limited access to maintain the profile. It does not confer ownership of Velvet List records, administrator access, or a right to alter independent ratings and reviews. Never share account credentials. Creators must complete a Didit ID document and liveness check confirming they are 18 or over. Profile images must be non-nude. Gallery images may include nudity but must show only the creator, be made and shared with their consent, and contain no sexual activity or genital-focused imagery; every gallery image is moderated before it is shown. Featured placement is clearly labelled and kept separate from organic ratings.
Creator suggestions, outreach and invites
Signed-in members can suggest a creator by platform and handle. If enough members ask, our team may contact the creator manually, and we tell the requesting member if the creator joins. A creator who asks not to be contacted is not contacted again. Staff may prepare a private draft and send the creator a one-use invite link valid for 30 days; the draft stays private and nothing is public until the creator accepts, passes the checks and publishes. Declined drafts are deleted at once and unaccepted drafts 30 days after the invite expires. See the privacy notice for what we keep and for how long.
Moderation and availability
We may review, restrict, correct, suspend or remove accounts and content to protect users, comply with law, preserve rating integrity, or operate the service safely. The service may change or be unavailable, and information or features may be corrected as needed.

Creator and platform links lead to services we do not control. Their terms, privacy practices, charges and content rules apply separately.
