Velvet List is an 18+ directory where every profile is made or approved by the creator and approved by our team before it goes live. Profile images are non-nude; gallery images may include nudity and are blurred until a viewer verifies their age; a listing or review status is not an endorsement of content.
Every profile is created or approved by the creator, who proved control of a listed platform account and passed a UK ID check, and only staff-approved profiles are published. Members cannot build profiles of other people. Public pages distinguish staff review, reviewed platform links and account-control checks. None establishes legal identity, age, consent, image rights, platform verification or endorsement. Unsupported facts stay absent rather than being inferred.
Profile images must be non-nude; a profile image with nudity is rejected at moderation. The gallery is the only place nudity can be approved: a creator who has passed a Didit ID and liveness check may add gallery images of themselves alone, which may include nudity. Sexual activity, genital-focused imagery, other people and anything suggesting a person under 18 are prohibited. Every gallery image, including one used as a search-card background, is moderated before display and shown blurred to anyone who has not verified they are 18 or over.
Signed-in members can report any image. A report that someone may be under 18 or did not consent hides the image immediately until a moderator reviews it.
Members may submit one respectful review per creator. New and edited reviews are moderated before publication. An average appears after the first published review, marked Early rating until a creator has 3 or more. Rating filters, rating order and category ranks only use creators with 3 or more published reviews.
Creators can request a correction through the profile report form. Approval grants limited profile-management capability, never platform administration access or ownership of directory records. Members can suggest a creator, which only asks us to invite them: staff may contact the creator manually, and a creator who asks not to be contacted is not contacted again. A private concierge draft stays private until the creator accepts it, passes the checks and publishes; a declined draft is deleted at once and an unaccepted one 30 days after its invite expires. Impersonation can be reported through the profile report form or the safety form.
Anyone can send a private safety report, takedown request or appeal without an account. It enters the protected staff moderation queue for reasoned resolution. Our team aims to triage reports within one working day.

Account data is available privately in the account area. Deletion removes your follows and creator suggestions and anonymises the account record; limited review records may remain only for moderation audit purposes.
